Duties/Responsibilities:

Senior Process Engineers - contract or permanent

WorleyParsons is a large global provider of professional services to the energy, resource and complex process industries. We have the track record and systems necessary to pursue and deliver large-scale and complex projects.
We are currently looking for Senior Process Engineers to join the proess team in Farnborough. Your experience may include:

Sour gas

Compression / injection

Oil/gas separation

Utilities

Core Responsibilities

To provide definition of the Process engineering work in the Project, design approach or criteria by skill and experience as directed by the Lead Process Engineer

To clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary

Prior to commencement of any Process work , a Process scope of work (SoW) must be written and agreed with the Lead Process Engineer (or designated representative). The Process SoW must clearly state the work scope, man-hour budget and schedule to complete the work

Estimate Process man hours for any job using the current TW Process man-hour norms

Responsible for maintaining work progress (budget, schedule) and raising change documentation where necessary.

Supervision of technical detail, budget and schedule of Process design in Project work where requested by the Lead Process Engineer

Liaison with client, vendors and outside parties in a professional manner

Where requested to undertake Process focal point duties

To plan man-hour budgets and schedules for all Projects within the focal point area of responsibility.

To manage all resources allocated to the focal point area of responsibility (both technically and by discipline specific project controls)

To liaise with the equivalent client focal point on technical and engineering matters on a regular basis

Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.

Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

Computer skills particularly of process simulation packages such as HYSYS and PRO/11 and in commercial software including databases, spreadsheets and word processing packages

Experience in the development of process flow diagrams, heat and mass balances and piping and instrument diagrams, and in sizing and specification of equipment including separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and dehydration and sweetening units

A good working knowledge of the codes and standards relating to the oil and gas industry particularly the API recommended practices and ASME/ANSI pipe and pressure vessel codes

Good report writing skills

Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent

Onshore experience

Chartered Engineer (IChemE, IEAust or equivalent) or Member of Appropriate Engineering Institution (or at least applying for membership)

More than 7 years process engineering experience in design/operations support related to the oil & gas production and processing industries, with at least 4 years in conceptual, FEED and detailed design in the Oil & Gas Industry.
