Position: Principal Instrument Engineer

Rate: £52 per month

Duration: 6 months

Duties/Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for Principal Instrument Engineer to join ourLondon based office.

Primary objective

Control and co-ordinate the design engineering function within the discipline to meet project objectives.

Advise on design integrity issues relating to Discipline engineering.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards

Facilitate and develop a productive and cohesive team

Specific Accountabilities

Co-ordinate project design activities within the section to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and profit objectives.

Select and monitor the performance of external consultants in the discipline.

Supervise the work of Design Engineers and drafting staff to ensure compliance with technical standards.

Select and develop design staff within the section to ensure their design competence.

Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
