Inspection Coordinator

This role is for an office based "Project Inspection Coordinator" working as part of the inspection team on project. It involves managing the inspection of Project Procurementequipment orders, liaising with the Client, suppliers and Inspection agencies.

Essential Skills

Ø Ability to work as an office based QC inspection coordinator and to interface with the Client

Ø Previous EPC inspection coordination experience

Ø Ability to organize and chair Pre Inspection Meetings

Ø Ability to interpret standards, codes & regulations

Ø Ability to comment on suppliers documentation such as inspection & test plans (ITPs), NDE & testing procedures

Ø Ability to process concession requests and non conformance reports

Ø Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team

Ø Ability to review Field Inspection reports

Ø Awareness of the traditional vendors used by EPC contractors and their QC strengths/weaknesses

Ø Higher National Certificate in any relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience

Ø Awareness of the typical inspection agency service providers used by EPC contractors

Ø Free to make Ad Hoc supplier visits to manufacturers premises, UK & abroad.

Ø Previous KBR/MW Kellogg experience an advantage.

Note for Agencies

Although the candidates should have a knowledge of NDE & welding we are not looking for travelling Site Construction or Welding Supervisors / Inspectors.

The candidate should have a record of having worked in a Head Office environment.
