Experienced Consultant - Contract Oil & Gas

We are looking to employ an experienced Recruitment Consultant to service existing business as well as develop new clients in the UK Oil & Gas sector.  TEC Group enjoys long-standing relationships with many clients and receives numerous job requirements via PSL agrements.   Initially, this role is to service a number of clients' requirements, and to grow that business through quickly and accurately matching candidates from our existing incredibly strong database.

The role would suit an experienced consultant, ideally - but not essentially - with experience in oil & gas, but most importantly of building a high value book of business in a professional, white collar, industry.  Oil & Gas contractors are usually seasoned and experienced contracting operatives with many years experience.  The principal skills to build a successful contact desk are therefore strong communication, attention to detail in the matching process, and the ability to work fast to effectively compete in a tough market.  The rewards for success are high, as contracts are often long term and high value, so it's possible to build a substantial desk and earn high levels of commission.
