James has worked in the recruitment and staffing industry for seventeen years, starting as a trainee consultant with Eden Brown Recruitment. He spent his early years as a consultant in the Building Services and Construction sector before moving into management and becoming a Director of CDI AndersElite, the global staffing and engineering services provider. James joined TEC Group as part of FPSG’s organisation into owner managed business and brings a wealth of experience in growing and developing recruitment businesses.
Outside of work James is a keen golfer, enjoys fishing and boating and most of all spending time with his family and children.
Dawn has a solid recruitment background of over 20 years in the Technical Engineering field, covering all disciplines in a variety of industries.
Still strongly active in recruitment, leading by example, covering the Project Management and Engineering roles, along with Safety, Environmental and Process.
Outside of work Dawn is still a keen korfball player [Dawn has represented England in the challenging, if obscure sport], enjoys spending time with the family and meeting up with friends.
Tony leads TEC Group’s international and permanent teams. He has worked within the recruitment industry since 1989, gaining experience in hands on recruiting, team and company leadership and the development and management of high profile client relationships. His experience has largely been gained within the built environment.
Tony plays cricket and golf, has developed a passion for skiing, loves traveling and spending time with his family.
Alison has worked for the company for over 11 years and is always happy to help our contractors with any admin or payroll problems they may have. With her youngest daughter and husband in the mechanical engineering field she has some understanding of the disciplines and the pressures the work entails. Prior to working in recruitment Alison worked in the City followed by her time in advertising in Knightsbridge.
In her spare time she enjoys sci-fi and visiting country pubs with her husband in their Triumph Spitfire.
Mary has 30 years HR experience in the Oil and Gas Industry working for one of our most important clients. The vast majority of her roles have been on large projects, both onshore and offshore, in the UK and overseas.
Mary joined TEC Group in 2008 and provides support to both our Consultants and our Contractors.
In her own time Mary enjoys weekends away on the back of her husband’s Harley Davidson and travelling worldwide to seek out penguins in their natural habitats.
John has worked in the recruitment industry since 2003 and covered various industries recruiting both contract and permanent staff, he has focused on the oil and gas industry in recent years and built up an extensive understanding of what both clients and contractors require.
His role at TEC Group is to service and develop our major accounts and he covers all disciplines including Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Process, Safety and HVAC at all levels of seniority.
Outside of work John enjoys playing cricket, watching Ipswich play football at Portman Road and travelling with his girlfriend.
Scott Hemphill – Senior Consultant
Scott has been recruiting in the Civil/Structural engineering industry for six years and has built up a good knowledge of both the building consultancy and the oil and gas industry in that time.
He is currently tasked with recruiting both Civil and Structural engineers in the Onshore and offshore oil and gas industry, along with the subsea, marine and weight control disciplines.
Scott's experience has seen him resource candidates for all levels of seniority, from recent College/University leavers all the way up to Managing Directors.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys watching sports and playing football.
Following several years in the UK construction industry, Mike Young started working in the oil & gas industry with Brown & Root (now KBR) in 1976, and then joined Kvaerner Engineering in 1987. During this period he undertook 2 expatriate assignments, as well as extensive travel to overseas oil & gas locations. After joining Tudor Personnel in 1994 he used his industry experience to develop a role in oil & gas recruitment, and now leads the International Division of TEC Group.
In his free time Mike likes to travel – there is still a lot of World to see
Paul comes from a varied background initially working within the legal sector, working on behalf of the Legal Services Commission, and then into his recruitment career. Paul joined TEC Group in 2011 after initially recruiting for commercial agencies with the Rail, Facilities Management and Mechanical and Engineering maintenance sectors.
His role at TEC Group is to network and source candidates for placement into permanent staff roles - a very active and busy job in the current climate of high demand for staff candidates.
Outside of work Paul plays football regularly and is an ardent West Ham United supporter.
Anthony has a sales and customer service background before starting his career in recruitment. Anthony has gained a wealth of recruitment experience working in the construction and healthcare sector before moving to oil and gas.
His role at TEC Group is to service major accounts by sourcing a high calibre of candidates. He covers all disciplines including Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Process, Safety and HVAC at all levels of seniority.
Outside of work Anthony enjoys reading novels, taking part in all sporting activities and is a regular member of the gym.
